San Francisco, Calif. — April 7, 2016 — Aechelon Technology, Inc. announced today that the Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division (NAWC-AD) has awarded Aechelon a contract to provide multi-channel image generators (IGs) and a unified storage system (USS) in support of a Joint Synthetic Environment (JSE) for several simulated F-35 aircraft.
Aechelon Technology will provide NACW-AD the new pC-NOVA™ v7.1 Aechelon image generators and a state-of-the-art Aechelon Nexus™ USS data center. The Aechelon Nexus™ USS enables access to very large visual databases for hundreds of database streams to large multichannel, multi-spectral training and mission rehearsal IGs and radar simulation subsystems, to page database streams in real time and independently of each other from the same file system. Additionally, the USS includes support for Aechelon Nexus™ Data Packs, designed to deliver very large format database updates.
