SAN CARLOS Calif., July 22, 2002 — Aechelon Technology, Inc. and Intrinsic Graphics, Inc. announce a license agreement for Intrinsic Graphics’ Alchemy software development platform. Intrinsic Alchemy ensures the portability of applications software across multiple platforms including PCs, game consoles and set-top boxes. The newly released pC-NOVATM product from Aechelon Technology was developed using the Intrinsic Alchemy API, to take advantage of portability and to ensure hardware independence.
Aechelon Technology’s pC-NOVA software-based runtime engine provides geo-specific visual and multi-sensor image generation in flight training applications. pC-NOVA uses the same databases and ICD as the C-NOVATM runtime engine delivered on the SGI Onyx Infinite Reality platform.
