San Francisco, Calif. – April 19, 2022 — Aechelon Technology, Inc. announced today that The Boeing Company, has awarded it a contract to provide multiple Nucleus Image and Radar Generators, three Scenario Generation Stations (SGS), and a new developmental database providing high fidelity training and navigation. This technology will be used on P-8 training devices for the Republic of Korea Navy (ROKN) at Pohang Air Base, Republic of Korea. The Boeing Company is the program’s prime contractor responsible for delivering the Operational Flight Trainer (OFT), Weapons Tactics Trainers (WTT), and supporting subsystems.
This program requires image generators and databases that allow the ROKN P-8 trainers to perform immediate and advanced training. Aechelon will work closely with The Boeing Company as well as the ROKN to accomplish this mission.
Aechelon Technology will supply its state-of-the-art pC-NOVA Nucleus™ Image Generators, a true multi-spectral multi-channel compact image generator featuring Multi-GPU NVIDIA® Quadro® with a dramatically reduced footprint. The Aechelon Nucleus incorporates C4ISR grade GPU-based simulation of OTW, advanced multi-sensor EO/IR, and Radar Data Generation for the ROK P-8 platform.
Aechelon Technology will also provide a new high fidelity multi-spectral visual database, 3D moving models, and a variety of airfields
