SAN CARLOS, Calif., January 12, 2004 — Aechelon Technology, Inc. announced today that it has added business development to Stephen Gersuk’s duties, whose title now becomes Director of Programs and Business Development. Gersuk will be responsible for leading all aspects of the company’s program business development, contract negotiation, program delivery, and post-acceptance program support, as well as sales and sales-related activities.

‘Stephen has performed well in his Program Management role, and he has been anxious to add business development and other sales-related tasks when the timing was right,’ said John C. Quinn, president and CEO of the company. ‘With the expiration of his commitments to his former employer on January 1, 2004, and my wish to step back from day-to-day operations, I declared the timing was right!’

Prior to joining Aechelon Technology, Mr. Gersuk was Vice President of Professional Services for MultiGen-Paradigm, Inc. His broad career has spanned three decades, with management and engineering positions at Contraves-SSI, Applimation, Inc., Signetics, and General Dynamics.

Mr. Gersuk holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, Blacksburg, VA.
