Aechelon Technology, Inc. announced today that the United States Marine Corps has awarded it a contract to provide visual databases which will support Marine Corps MV-22 training and readiness. Aechelon Technology will provide a high fidelity multi-spectral visual and sensor database, 3D moving models, and a variety of airfields in Marine-aviator-specified key locations. The technology will be used on Marine Corps MV-22 Containerized Flight Training Devices (CFTD) located in the Unites States and overseas.
Each MV-22 CFTD features an Aechelon Technology pC-NOVA™ Image Generator. Aechelon Technology has provided all of the Image Generators in support of the U.S. Marine Corps’ MV-22 Containerized Flight Training Device fleet since the program’s inception.
