South San Francisco, Calif. — 31 October 2023 — Aechelon Technology Inc. announced today that the U.S. Mobility Air Force and ADS Inc. have executed an initial order for three (3) operational flight training devices and two (2) boom operator training devices for upgrade to the Common Database and Visual System Solution for MAF. This upgrade includes new Image and Radar Data Generation Systems, warp and blend system, and Norxe P10 projectors.  The Image Generators are required to support the high-fidelity Global Database provided by Aechelon. 

Work will be performed at Fairchild and Scott Air Force Base. Aechelon Technology systems are already in service at Wright Patterson Air Force Base for the JSE program.

Aechelon Technology will supply its state-of-the-art pC-NOVA Nucleus™ 8-GPU Image Generators, a true multi-spectral multi-channel compact image generator featuring Multi-GPU NVIDIA® Professional® with a dramatically reduced footprint. The Aechelon Nucleus combines C4ISR grade GPU-based simulation of OTW, NVG, EO/IR, and Radar support.

The system integrates a full-resolution worldwide 3D visual and sensor database with extensive domestic and foreign areas of interest. This Global database is already deployed and being used on other DoD programs without the need for down-sampling, de-rating, or modification—thus ensuring complete correlation and commonality with other U.S. DoD devices also utilizing Aechelon Technology Image Generators.
