San Francisco, Calif., — September 18, 2013, Aechelon Technology, Inc. announced today that Veraxx Engineering Corp. has awarded it a contract to provide eight image generators and visual databases for the US Marine Corp MV-22 Containerized Flight Training Devices (CFTD) units 9 through 16. This award also includes the development of a Washington DC area visual database. The MV-22 CFTD trains pilots in the amphibious assault transport of troops, equipment, and supplies from assault ships and land bases.
Aechelon Technology will supply its pC-NOVA™ v6.5 Image Generators for Out- The-Window (OTW) and Sensor training. Aechelon Technology will also provide databases, moving models, airfields and areas of interest.
