San Francisco, Calif., — March 29, 2013, Aechelon Technology, Inc. announced today that the U.S. Army’s Project Manager Cargo Helicopters has awarded it a Foreign Military Sales contract to provide databases which will support the Australian Defence Force. Aechelon Technology will provide high fidelity multi-spectral visual and sensor databases, 3D moving models, and a variety of airfields. The technology will be used on CH-47F Transportable Flight Proficiency Simulator (TFPS) training devices for the Australian Defence Force in Australia.
The CH-47F TFPS devices are being fielded to the Australian Defence Force through Foreign Military Sales. Each TFPS device will feature Aechelon Technology’s new pC-NOVA™ v6.x Image Generator. Aechelon Technology has provided all of the Image Generators in support of the U.S. Army’s CH-47F Transportable Flight Proficiency Simulator program.
