San Francisco, Calif., July 3, 2011 — Aechelon Technology, Inc. announced today that it has received a contract to deliver five additional multi-channel image generators for the CH-47F Transportable Flight Proficiency Simulator units 15 through 19 from Yulista Aviation, Inc. Yulista is the prime contractor for the U.S. Army program.
Aechelon Technology will supply its new pC-NOVA™ v5.6 Image Generators providing 18 channels of high resolution OTW and stimulated NVG visuals. The system supports dual-input LED-based Christie Digital Systems projectors featuring simultaneous OTW and Near IR projection per projector with fully automatic calibration. Additionally the system provides fiber optics for end-to-end digital video distribution for a total of 22 video channels. The containerized trainer includes Government developed databases as well as Aechelon Technology’s undisclosed foreign databases.
Aechelon Technology was also the supplier for all previously fielded units as part of the CH-47F program in a different configuration as well as units 13 and 14 that use the new configuration.
