SAN CARLOS, Calif., November 6, 2005 — Aechelon Technology, Inc. announced the award
of a contract from Aero Simulation, Inc. to provide a pC-NOVATM image generator for the C-2A
OFT Upgrade Program. The pC-NOVA 3.0 IG will be integrated with the host computer using the
CIGI 3.0 interface, and will render Navy Portable Source Initiative databases enhanced and
published by Aechelon Technology.
The five-channel image generator features Aechelon Technology’s pC-NOVA software-based
runtime engine for flight training applications.
Aero Simulation program manager Jack Hales said, “The Aechelon Technology image generator
and geospecific databases will provide unparalleled additional realism in the out-the-window
scenes for the Navy aircrews that will train on the upgraded C-2A OFT”.
