San Francisco, Calif., — April 9, 2015 ,– Aechelon Technology, Inc. announced today that J.F. Taylor Inc. has awarded a contract in support of a U.S. Navy NAWCAD Simulation Division requirement for Aechelon to provide a multi-channel image generator and databases for the CH-47F Transportable Flight Proficiency Simulator (TFPS), device 22, in support of the U.S. Army´s Project Manager Office, Cargo Helicopters. J.F. Taylor Inc. is the prime contractor for this effort.
Aechelon Technology will supply its new pC-NOVA™ v7.0 Image Generator for the multi-channel, visual database image generator. Aechelon Technology will also provide high fidelity multi-spectral visual and sensor databases, 3D moving models, and a variety of airfields from its extensive library already being used on existing US Army training devices and other DoD programs.
Aechelon Technology is the Image Generator supplier for all 22 TFPS devices as part of the CH-47F program.
