San Francisco, Calif. — 15 November, 2018 — Aechelon Technology, Inc. announced today that the Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) has awarded a contract to Aechelon to provide multi-spectral image generators and databases to be used to directly stimulate unmodified operational US Coast Guard MINOTAUR units with simulated EO/IR and Radar. The USCG Mission System Operating Readiness Trainer (MS-ORT) for Minotaur will be the first of its kind ensuring concurrency with actual operational units.
Aechelon Technology will supply its state of the art pC-NOVA Nucleus™ Image Generators, a true multi-spectral multi-channel compact image generator featuring Multi-GPU NVIDIA® Quadro® with a dramatically reduced footprint (4U) matched for highly transportable units. The Aechelon Nucleus incorporates C4ISR* grade GPU-based simulation of Short Wave Infra-red (SWIR), Mid-Wave Infra-Red (MWIR), Day TV (Color CCD), Low Light Level TV and APY-11 Radar.
The compact system integrates a full resolution world-wide 3D visual and sensor database with extensive domestic and foreign areas of interest. This Global database is already deployed and being used on other DoD programs without the need of down- sampling, de-rating, or modification—thus ensuring complete correlation and commonality with other US Coast Guard devices also deploying Aechelon Technology Image Generators.
