SAN CARLOS, Calif., August 5, 2002 — Aechelon Technology, Inc. announced the acceptance by J.F. Taylor, Inc. of two 6-channel
OTW pC-NOVATM visual image generators for use at the Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division, Manned Flight Simulator. The image generators were delivered, installed and integrated with Manned Flight Simulators classified and unclassified hosts in less than one-week. Included in the delivery were two databases: US Southwest (1024km x 1024km) and Afghanistan (1350km x 1350km).
The pC-NOVA image generator supports all of the features of Aechelon Technology’s C-NOVATM software-based runtime engine for flight training applications, and uses the same databases and ICDs. Of note is that the pC-NOVA image generator uses no custom parts, and is comprised of strictly
commodity PC components.
