Tampa, Fla., December 19, 2009 — Aechelon Technology, Inc. announced today that it has been awarded a contract by Aero Simulation, Inc. (ASI) to provide image generators and databases for the US Coast Guard HH-60J Operational Flight Trainer in Mobile, Alabama.
Aechelon Technology supplied its pC-NOVA™ v4.6 image generator, to be integrated with the host computer using the CIGI 3.2 interface. The IG will provide 5 channels of high resolution OTW/NVG visuals.
As part of the program award Aechelon Technology is developing the next generation US Coast Guard databases, replacing pre-existing database baselines.
