Aechelon Technology Announces Award of Image Generator for MH-53E Sea Dragon Operational Flight Trainer

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., November 6, 2005 — Aechelon Technology, Inc. announced today
that it was awarded a contract by Indra Systems (US) to provide a pC-NOVATM image generator
for the MH-53E Sea Dragon OFT to be located at NAS Norfolk, VA. The image generator will be
the latest version of the pC-NOVA IG and will be integrated with the host computer using the CIGI
3.0 interface. The IG will render Navy Portable Source Initiative databases and models published
by Aechelon Technology.

The image generator will develop nine channels of OTW visual or NVG stimulating images and
features Aechelon Technology’s pC-NOVA software-based runtime engine for flight training
applications and pC-RADIANTTM plug-in module for geospecific, physics-based, multi-sensor
image generation support. The IG fully implements the Air Force Research Laboratory’s NVG
SensorHost (v2.0).
