Huntsville, Ala., November 13, 2007 — Aechelon Technology, Inc. announced today that it has delivered three additional multi-channel image generators for the CH-47F Transportable Flight Proficiency Simulator units 5, 6 and 7 under contract for WestWind Technologies Inc. (WTI). WTI is the prime contractor for the US Army Program.
Aechelon Technology supplied its pC-NOVA™ v3.5 image generators, to be integrated with the host computer using the CIGI 3.1 interface. Each image generator provides 6 channels of high resolution OTW visuals, and two head tracked NVG channels, and features Aechelon Technology’s pC-NOVA software-based runtime engine and multiple, high detail Government-developed Portable Source Initiative (PSI) databases.
Aechelon Technology was also the supplier all four prior units (1, 2, 3 and 4) as part of the early phase of the CH-47F program.
