Aechelon Technology Announces Expanded Model Library and Geographic Coverage

SAN CARLOS, Calif., December 3, 2002 — Aechelon Technology, Inc. announced the availability of a greatly expanded
model library and two new large area stock databases: the Eastern United States and
the Iberian Peninsula.

The Aechelon Model Library now includes over 240 air targets, 100 sea targets and 180 ground targets. All models
are available for use in both the C-NOVATM and pc-NOVATM runtime environments and provided with all Aechelon Technology image generators. More detailed information on the available models may be found at our website.

Two additional stock geospecific databases, the Eastern United States and the Iberian Peninsula, are now available in addition to the stock Southwestern United States database. The Eastern United States database is 10×10 degrees with over 40 high resolution insets, while the Iberian Peninsula is 13×13 degrees, including all of Spain and part of Southern France and Northern Africa.
