Aechelon Technology Announces Nvidia’ Quadro’ FX 4500 Based Image Generation System with Support for Nvidia G-Sync Technology

Orlando, FL, November 27, 2005 — Aechelon Technology, Inc. announced today support for
the NVIDIATM Quadro’ FX 4500 professional graphics solutions in its pC-NOVATM image generation
system with immediate availability. This flagship workstation graphics product from NVIDIA
Corporation, the worldwide leader in visual processing solutions, brings graphics performance
and image quality to new unprecedented levels for professional applications. pC-NOVA systems
incorporating NVIDIA Quadro FX 4500 graphics will be demonstrated at the I/ITSEC conference
in Orlando, Florida November 28-December 1, 2005, booth 1301.

NVIDIA Quadro FX 4500 graphics cards can also be bundled with the NVIDIA Quadro G-Sync
genlock and framelock option board, allowing pC-NOVA systems to support multi-channel
synchronization with unprecedented performance, scalability and quality. This solution also
supports NVIDIA SLITM multi-GPU technology, enabling seamless integration of multiple NVIDIA
Quadro graphics cards per rendering channel, in the first truly commercial off-the-shelf (COTS),
single chassis, multi-GPU rendering solution available, enabling near eye-limiting resolution
support without a single custom component in the system.

Aechelon Technology’s flagship product, pC-NOVA, transforms clusters of high-performance,
commercial off-the-shelf PCs into high-resolution, multi-channel geo-specific image generators
with rock-solid 60Hz frame rate, running the unmodified Microsoft Windows XP operating system.
Aechelon Technology’s C-RADIANTTM plug-in module for pC-NOVA provides geospecific, multi-
sensor image generation support, enables accurate physics based sensor simulation without
requiring any custom hardware, and makes full use of NVIDIA’s advanced fragment and vertex
shader technology.

“pC-NOVA systems with the new NVIDIA Quadro FX 4500 graphics raise the bar once again for
performance and graphics quality in image generation,” said John Quinn, president and CEO of
Aechelon Technology. “NVIDIA SLI multi-GPU technology, genlock and framelock support bring
features previously only available in custom hardware solutions to the mainstream COTS
market.”

“Visual simulation applications have insatiable demand for rendering quality and performance.
We are very pleased to continue to push the boundaries for realism together with Aechelon
Technology,” said Jeff Brown, general manager for NVIDIA professional products. “The
combination of NVIDIA Quadro FX 4500 image quality and performance, together with the G-
Sync option board, help bring the pC-NOVA generated scenes one step closer to reality.”
