San Francisco, California — 28 September 2021 — Aechelon Technology Inc. announced today it had been awarded by REISER Simulation & Training GmbH a contract for their next Commercial Helicopter Level-D Training Devices in support of Rega, a Swiss air-rescue organization. Rega helicopters flew more than 13,000 rescue missions in 2020 – more than ever before.
The award includes a multi-platform Level D helicopter full-flight simulator (FFS), to include a genuine AW 169-FIPS fully customized to Rega requirements. Through RST’s unique roll-on/roll-off capabilities of the FFS, the training device may adapt to the fleet composition of Rega by exchanging the functional cockpit. The outstanding feature secures Rega’s investment for many years to come.
Aechelon Technology will supply their state-of-the-art pC-NOVA Nucleus™ 8-GPU capable Image Generators, a true multi-spectral multi-channel compact image generator featuring Multi-GPU NVIDIA® Quadro® with a dramatically reduced footprint. The Aechelon Nucleus incorporates GPU-based simulation of simultaneous OTW and stimulation of NVG in a collimated display system.
Aechelon Technology will also provide its Global Commercial database as well as custom database development.
