Aechelon Technology Receives Contract Award from CAE USA for Image Generators and Databases for the Undergraduate Military Flight Officer Multi Crew Simulator trainers

San Francisco, Calif., — July 20, 2012. Aechelon Technology, Inc. announced today that CAE USA has awarded it a contract to provide six image generators, a Scalable Storage Area Network (SAN) and databases in support of two United States Navy Undergraduate Military Flight Officer (UMFO) Multi Crew Simulator (MCS) trainers. The UMFO MCS will train student flight officers in a variety of tasks, including: command and control, electronic warfare, navigation, sensor operations and weapons employment. The training devices will be delivered to Naval Air Station Pensacola, Florida. CAE is the prime contractor for the U.S. UMFO MCS program.

Aechelon Technology will supply its new pC-NOVA™ v6.0 Image Generators as well as its new Aechelon Nexusâ„¢ Scalable Unified Storage serving several independent Image Generators. Aechelon Technology will also provide global multi-spectral visual and sensor databases, 3D moving models, airfields and undisclosed foreign areas of interest.
