San Francisco, Calif., — January 2, 2012. Aechelon Technology, Inc. announced today that Pathfinder Systems, Inc. has awarded it a contract to provide an image generator and databases for the United States Marine Common Aircrew Trainer (MCAT) – Prototype 2 (P2) program. The MCAT-P2 has a total of twenty eight Out the Window (OTW) and Night Vision Goggle channels and provides training for aerial gunnery, crew coordination and external load operations for the CH-46E, UH-1N, MV-22B and MH-53E aircrews. Pathfinder Systems, Inc. is the prime contractor for the MCAT-P2 program.
Aechelon Technology supplied its pC-NOVA™ v5.6 Image Generator and global multi-spectral visual databases, 3D moving models, airfields and undisclosed foreign areas of interest.
