San Francisco, Calif. – March 17, 2017 — Aechelon Technology, Inc. announced today that Veraxx Engineering Corporation (Veraxx) has awarded it a contract to provide three image generators and a new developmental database allowing high fidelity training and navigation. The technology will be used on training devices for the U.S. Marine Corps at MCAS New River, JRB McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, and JRB New Orleans. Veraxx is the program’s prime contractor responsible for delivering the Flight Training Device (FTD) and supporting subsystems.
Aechelon Technology will supply its new pC-NOVA™ v7.5 Image Generators for the multi-channel out the window (OTW) display systems. Aechelon Technology will also provide a new high fidelity, multi-spectral visual database, 3D moving models, and a variety of airfields.
