Aechelon Technology Receives Contract for CH-53E Trainer Technology Upgrade Image Generators

San Francisco, Calif. — On July 9, 2015 Aechelon Technology, Inc. announced that Veraxx Engineering Corporation (Veraxx) awarded it a subcontract to provide four new image generators and existing databases currently in use by the U.S. Marine Corps for the CH-53E devices located at both MCAS Miramar, CA and MCAS New River, NC. Veraxx is the program´s Prime Contractor responsible for delivering the trainers and supporting subsystems.

Aechelon Technology will supply its new pC-NOVA™ v7.1 Image Generator for the multi-channel image generators. Aechelon Technology will also provide high fidelity multi-spectral visual and sensor databases, 3D moving models, and a variety of airfields from its extensive library already being used on existing USMC and other DoD programs.

The CH-53E Super Stallion is the largest, heaviest, and most powerful helicopter in the United States military. The heavy-lift helicopter of the Marine Corps is essential in the transportation of heavy equipment and supplies.
