San Francisco, Calif., — October 6, 2014, Aechelon Technology, Inc. announced its subcontract award in connection with Delivery Order N0019-06-C-0081, from Veraxx Engineering Corporation (Veraxx) for an image generator and existing stock databases, to be used in the new CH-53K Super Stallion Containerized Flight Training Device (CFTD). The U.S. Marine Corps training device will be delivered to the Marine Aviation Training Systems facility, located in MCAS New River, North Carolina.
Aechelon Technology will supply its new pC-NOVA™ v6.5 Image Generator for the CH-53K CFTD device. Aechelon Technology will also provide high fidelity multi-spectral visual and sensor databases, with a variety of airfields and 3D moving models, from its extensive library already being used in existing USMC and other DoD programs.
