San Francisco, Calif., —  April 9, 2014, Aechelon Technology, Inc. announced its subcontract award in connection with Delivery Order N61340-14-C-1049, from Pathfinder Systems Inc. (PSI) for three image generators and existing stock databases, to be used in new H-53 Enhanced Aircrew External Trainers (EAET). The U.S. Marine Corps will utilize two of the EAET devices and the U.S. Navy will employ the other. The EAET devices will be located at MCAS New River, North Carolina and MCAS Miramar, California and NS Norfolk, Virginia. PSI is prime contractor for the program, responsible for delivering the H-53 EAET and supporting subsystems.
Aechelon Technology will supply its new pC-NOVA™ v6.5 Image Generator for the H-53 EAET devices.  Aechelon Technology will also provide high fidelity multi-spectral visual and sensor databases, 3D moving models, and a variety of airfields from its extensive library already being used in existing USMC and other DoD programs.
