Aechelon Technology Receives Contract for T-45C Goshawk Image Generators and Developmental Database

San Francisco, Calif. — November 18, 2015 — Aechelon Technology, Inc. announced today that Aero Simulation, Inc. (ASI), has awarded it a contract to provide five image generators with an option for a sixth image generator, and a database allowing for cross country navigation. The technology will be used on training devices for the U.S. Navy T-45 program at the Naval Air Station Meridian in Meridian, Mississippi.  ASI is the program’s prime contractor responsible for delivering the Operations Flight Trainers (OFT) and supporting subsystems.

The program requires the replacement of the current Image Generators and databases to bring the T-45C trainers up to date and provide for immediate and advanced strike training. Aechelon will work closely with ASI as well as the Chief of Naval Air Training (CNATRA) to accomplish this mission.

Aechelon Technology will supply its new pC-NOVA v7.5 Image Generators for the multi-channel out the window (OTW) display systems.  Aechelon Technology will also provide a new high fidelity multi-spectral visual database, 3D moving models, and a variety of airfields.
