San Francisco, Calif. — 05 September, 2018 — Aechelon Technology, Inc. announced today that The Boeing Company has awarded a contract to Aechelon to provide image generators and databases to be used in the US Navy P-8A Poseidon Deployable Mission Rehearsal Trainer (DMRT) program. The DMRT systems will be delivered to the US Navy. The Boeing Company is the program’s prime contractor responsible for delivering the DMRT systems to the US Navy.
Aechelon Technology will supply its state of the art pC-NOVA Nucleus™ Image Generators, a true multi-spectral multi-channel compact image generator featuring Multi-GPU NVIDIA® Quadro® with a dramatically reduced footprint (4U) matched for the mission of the highly transportable DMRT. The Aechelon Nucleus technology incorporates C4ISR* grade GPU-based video compression and streaming as well as true Full Motion Video GPU-based multi-tracking technology for each sensor. The compact system integrates a full resolution Global world-wide 3D visual and sensor database with extensive domestic and foreign areas of interest. This Global database is already deployed and being used on other DoD programs without the need of down- sampling, de-rating, or modification—thus ensuring complete correlation and commonality.
