Aechelon Technology Receives Contract for US Army Advanced Prototyping Engineering and Experimentation Laboratory Image Generator and Databases

San Francisco, Calif., — June 23, 2016, Aechelon Technology, Inc. announced today that Sigmatech, Inc. has awarded it a contract to provide an image generator and databases.  The technology will be used to support the US Army’s Advanced Prototyping Engineering and Experimentation (APEX2) Laboratory within the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Research, Development, and Engineering Center (AMRDEC) at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama.

U.S. Army AMRDEC provides increased responsiveness to the nation’s Warfighters through aviation and missile capabilities and life cycle engineering solutions.

Aechelon Technology will supply its new pC-NovaTM v7 Image Generator for the multi-channel Battlefield Highly Immersive Virtual Environment (BHIVE) at the Laboratory.  Aechelon Technology will also provide high fidelity multi-spectral visual and sensor databases, and 3D moving models.
